PROBLEM:
At Leadpages, our customers needed a way to create compelling marketing copy efficiently and effectively. Many users struggled with crafting persuasive headlines and copy that would drive conversions on their landing pages. Additionally, our user base included both standard and pro plan users, and we wanted to provide value to each tier while encouraging upgrades.
SOLUTION:
To address these needs, we designed two key features: Writing Assistant and Headline Swap.
Writing Assistant
Objective: Empower users to generate high-quality marketing copy quickly.
Design: We integrated a user-centric interface next to the live landing page preview pane. Users can select a use case and tone, enter a brief prompt, and leverage our proprietary OpenAI engine to generate copy. The integration allows users to see and insert AI-generated text in real-time, facilitating seamless content adjustments.
Features:

Easy options to upgrade plans or purchase additional credits.
Outcome: This feature streamlines the copywriting process, enabling users to craft compelling marketing messages with ease, enhancing overall user experience and satisfaction.
Headline Swap
Objective: Provide a low-cost, high-impact tool to optimize headlines and drive conversions from standard to pro plan users.
Design: Available on the standard plan, Headline Swap allows users to replace their headlines with AI-optimized versions with a single click. The new headline appears live on the page being edited, offering instant feedback on its effectiveness.

Outcome: This feature not only helps standard plan users enhance their headlines but also serves as an effective conversion tool, motivating users to upgrade to the pro plan for additional benefits.
