How We Built a Smart Lead Generation Tool for Small Businesses 🙌
PROBLEM:
Small business owners needed a quick and efficient way to connect with potential leads during in-person interactions. Traditional business cards often lacked the ability to instantly capture a lead’s interest or drive them to a website. Leadpages sought to create a solution that would streamline this process and enable small businesses to seamlessly guide customers to their landing pages, increasing engagement and conversions.
SOLUTION:
To address this challenge, we designed the Lead Card, a smart business card that allows small business owners to send customers directly to their landing page with a single tap on a smartphone. The design process included several key components:
New Landing Page Templates: We developed a set of fresh, visually appealing templates tailored for the Lead Card launch, ensuring businesses had ready-made pages to showcase their products or services.
Compelling Marketing Landing Page: A dedicated landing page was designed to introduce Lead Card, explain its benefits, and encourage sign-ups. The page focused on ease of use and the potential to enhance in-person lead generation.
In-App User Experience: The Lead Card was seamlessly integrated into the Leadpages app. The user experience was crafted to be intuitive, including:

Step-by-step instructions for activation and use.
Access to popular landing pages.
An option for users to select an existing landing page as their Lead Card destination.
The app also features a management interface where users can easily activate, deactivate, or change the destination of their Lead Card.
